Thank you for the great response and giving us a chance to give your child a new experience.

This year, we will be hosting a summer kids theater camp for kids ages 8-13, presented by AHS alumni Julie (Karns) Murren. She has directed over 35 productions, most of which were children’s productions. She founded the youth theater program at Southwest Iowa Theater Group in Shenandoah and currently directs multiple five-day theater camps each year for students of all ages. This year, she will be holding a five-day theater camp in Audubon, with a final performance of the play “The Trial of Goldilocks” by Joseph Robinette. Here are the details:

Camp dates:

August 12-16 from noon to 4:00 PM

Camp fees:

$25 per student

$40 for two students in the same household

$50 for three students in the same household

Audition date:

July 9 and 10th at 6:00 PM

Performance date:

August 16 at 7:00 PM

Auditions/camp/performance venue:

Local Audubon location TBD
