We have a Full Time Kitchen Position opening up! This is a morning position (5:30 am - lunch). Must love people and have a sense of humor (we have a lot of fun).

We are hiring for a full time (28-36 hours/week) kitchen position. This person will be responsible for prepping food and bakery items. This is an early morning position starting at 5:30 am and working through the lunch hour. Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotating schedule.

Applicant must be a “people person.” Must be friendly and willing to job in and help as needed. Our customers experience is our top priority. This person will be part of the team that makes coming to The Bakery a great experience. Applicant needs to be responsible and able to recognize tasks that need completed. Attention to detail and quality is a must. Cleanliness and a sense of humor is important.

  • Will work with dealers and customers on different phases of building project management from start to finish including estimating, pricing, material lists, drawings, and project coordination.

  • Gain an understanding of technical design requirements for buildings and other product lines. Learning of company standards, building codes, and related systems will be required.

    The ideal candidate will:

  • Be detail oriented and be able to complete projects in a timely fashion

  • Have a drafting degree or four year of related degree

  • Have at least one year of related experience that includes AutoCad and Construction

Utilize a variety of procedures that may involve numerous detailed tests and techniques that require the use of professional judgment.
Minimum Requirements: Prefer certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). Would consider someone with a four-year degree in a science related field of study and experience in a hospital setting as a lab technician. Experience in hospital laboratory preferred. May operate forklift if qualified and licensed.
Operates numerically controlled machining centers.
Reads process sheets.
Secures workpiece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device. 
Starts machine, engages feed and observes operation.
Spot checks production pieces for conformance to specifications.
May operate another machine tool during machining cycle.
Be aware of and follow safety regulations. 
Read, add, subtract and divide whole numbers and decimals.
Understand the basics of metric measurements.
Keep count of parts during production runs and record on forms provided.
Read and understand blueprints and travelers/routings.
Read and understand the use of a variety of measuring devices.
Chamfer and clean bars and blanks prior to machining.
Assemble (when required), deburr and stamp parts.
Keep machine clean internally of chips and debris during production runs.
Maintain machine and work area cleanliness. Remove all unrelated paperwork and documentation.
Inspect parts during production run to ensure conformance to specifications using comparator,
fixed gauges, calipers, micrometer and plug or ring gauges.
May move machine controls and tooling to adjust machine speed and feed rates and depth of cut.
Inspect tooling during production for wear and possible changing of tools.
Adds coolant to machine reservoir as needed.
Cleans and packs finished parts per requirements on traveler or routing.
Completes documentation as required.
Contact Supervisor when material is needed (raw stock & packaging) or chip tub needs emptied.
May operate forklift if qualified and licensed.
May be required to furnish personal tools to perform this jobs.
Observe Lock-Out-Tag-Out.

Job Description:

Quality Machine of Iowa is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 in Audubon IA.

Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.  Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management to determine quality and reliability standards.  Records and evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. May perform destructive and nondestructive tests on parts or product.


 Must be aware of and follow safety regulations. Select products to be tested at various stages and check dimensions, finish and for visual defects. Read and interpret inspection manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications to determine inspection method and procedures and allowable tolerances.  Conduct first article inspection on parts prior to production runs. Measures dimensions, contours, angles radii, ID, OD, and threads of products for conformance to blueprints and specifications using precision measuring instruments and devices, such as calipers, CMM, comparator, height gauge, micrometer and knowledge of shop math and machining skills.  Reviews inspection data prepared by other inspectors. Inspects parts for results or effects of outside processes such as anodizing, etching, and heat treat.  Checks calibration of measuring devices per schedule. Clean and check returned inspection devices prior to placing in assigned locations.  Maintain master file of inspection equipment to include employee measuring devices. Assist with reports such as Certificate of Conformance, Corrective Action and Nonconformance reports. Maintain file of customer orders.  Recommends modification of existing quality and production standards to achieve optimum quality. Conducts training with machine operators on use of measuring devices used to verify conformance of parts being produced. De-burr parts when required.  May be assigned to perform other duties outside this job description.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                           

Directs through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, equipment and products.  Plans training activities with operators to fully understand the operation of test equipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  4. Cleans or degreases weld joint or workpiece.  Repairs broken or cracked parts and fill holes.  Prepares broken parts for welding by grooving or scarfing surfaces.
  5. Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from the workpiece.  Chips off excess weld, slag, and spatter.
  6. Positions and clamps workpieces together or assembles them in jig or fixture.
  7. Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or workpieces.
  8. Sets up and performs maintenance on fab and machine shop machines and performs burning work.
  9. Occasionally, may position workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.
  10. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  11. Complies with all OSHA and PCE safety rules.
  12. Operates any equipment needed to perform job.

High school diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months’ related experience (in farming, construction, or manufacturing) or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Fabrication certificate received from a trade school.
