DATES TO REMEMBER
March 1 - Second half of property tax due
March 31 - Last day to pay second half property tax without penalty at the Treasurer's Office. Late interest will accrue starting April 1st unless the last day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then taxes become delinquent the second business day of April. Mail-in payments must be postmarked by March 31st.
Annual Tax Sale - Third Monday in June, 9:00 am, Audubon County Courthouse Law Library. Participants must register at the treasurer's office by 4:30 pm the Thursday prior to the sale.
July 1 - First day of Fiscal Year

As Treasurer of Audubon County, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Treasurer's web page and briefly identify the primary functions of the office.
These functions include:
The issuance of vehicle titles and registrations and the collections of all vehicle fees for residents of Audubon County.The collection of property taxes. We respond to tax inquiries throughout the year, administer the Iowa Property Tax Program and conduct the annual tax sale for the collection of delinquent taxes.
Driver's License issuance and drives.
The financial administration and services for banking, cash management and investments. Distribution of collections to schools, citites and all other taxing agencies.
Our mission is to provide quality customer service in the issuance of driver's license, vehicle registrations, collections of property taxes and cash management of collections through positive interactions between customers and employees.
